- Michangelina
- I am both logical and imaginative. I’ve always been a daydreamer and a nightthinker. My ego is nerdy/random; I often have deep inquisitions about the Universe. My Universe is quite abstruse but mostly harmless. If you pursue my friendship, give me chocolate. Statistically, I'm normal, but by my twisted logic, I have an incentive that cries: survival of the uniquest!
Twinkie Research
Twinkies contain synthetic material and nanotechnology. This is my blog post about the amazingness of twinkies and the things hidden inside of them...
Here is my Twinkie research:
The History of Twinkies:
1933 - Twinkies were introduced by The Continental Baking Company in Indianapolis, which also made "Wonder Bread" and had a snack line your probably familiar with called Hostess. One of their bakers named James A. Dewar got the idea for the "Twinkie" while he delivered one of their products, a cream filled strawberry shortcake. The machines to make these sat idle when the strawberry season was over so he came up with an idea to use them to make a snack cake filled with a banana filling, and only charge a nickel for a package of 2. It was good idea as money was tight for people during the great depression.
The Ingredients of Twinkies (supposedly):
Enriched Wheat Flour - enriched with ferrous sulphate (iron), B vitamins (niacin, thiamine mononitrate [B1], ribofavin [B12] and folic acid). Sugar, Corn syrup, Water, High fructose corn syrup, Vegetable and/or animal shortening - containing one or more of partially hydrogenated soybean, cottonseed or canola oil, and beef fat, Dextrose, Whole eggs, Modified corn starch, Cellulose gum, Whey, Leavenings (sodium acid pyrophosphate, baking soda, monocalcium phosphate), Salt, Cornstarch, Corn flour, Corn syrup solids, Mono and diglycerides, Soy lecithin, Polysorbate 60, Dextrin, Calcium caseinate, Sodium stearol lactylate, Wheat gluten, Calcium sulphate, Natural and artificial flavors, Caramel color, Sorbic acid (to retain freshness), Color added (yellow 5, red 40)
The Suspected Ingredients (including the following objects such as...microchips):
Nanotechnology, Microchips, Synthetic Material, Poison (mainly arsenic. hence why you dont know it's there. its tasteless!), Cancer, Diabetes, Cockroaches
Well, they are super inexpensive. Can last forever, they never expire. And taste yummy!
