- Michangelina
- I am both logical and imaginative. I’ve always been a daydreamer and a nightthinker. My ego is nerdy/random; I often have deep inquisitions about the Universe. My Universe is quite abstruse but mostly harmless. If you pursue my friendship, give me chocolate. Statistically, I'm normal, but by my twisted logic, I have an incentive that cries: survival of the uniquest!
Black Hole Flowers
Ughhh! I am too critical of my poems. I am not satisfied with this at all.
Analysis: Rhyming couplets (AABA pattern) Mild alliteration, the whole poem is a metaphor, some personification, and a couple of allusions.
Black Hole Flowers
Feel the aurora breeze,
The Universe is a forest of trees
Roots of impossibilities
Infinite uniform black seas
Petals casting away into Hera's hair,
Condemned to pollinate the air
Rising from the soil of wormholes
Rich in dark matter-- beware.
The stigma and stamen are the vortex,
Under a hex--
Dying indefinitely
The overall cortex.

So you are ,you are sweet and intelligent .First time I read a poem based on scientific facts. This is so cute.
Thank you. Thank you. *humble*
Yes, I am being too harshly critical of myself--
I kind of have a scientific viewpoint on life but science is beautiful. ^_^'' I'm most inspired by X&Y (yes, a Coldplay album)
Black hole flowers most certainly absorb all light and matter. That's what so fascinating about them. I wish I was an artist and could draw what I see in the back of my mind.
